Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I love their food, it always tastes fresh and is nice since CDA doesn't have a Chipotle. I do wish they had a meatless option like tofu or something like Chipotle does, but alas this is Idaho so I can't be too picky. For fast food it's pretty good.

Just like a chipotle. Not very knowledgeable about their sauces and seasonings if they were gluten free or not though. Not use to special requests. But friendly and willing to help though.

I eat this on the quick, when I don't feel like subway or the like, rather often; the burritos are big and tasty. OO and the nachos are great; I get them with the chips on the side and some fajita veg. And you can get naked burritos I hear, but I like some good ol' carbs in my diet; it puts hair on yer chest, and nrg in the tank. This is a pretty nice quick Mexican chain. Its fast food that tastes good, and doesn't give you the burger sweats.

Great food! The staff was also very helpful and carried our food out for us when we were having trouble with fussy babies.

The food is good, however, the staff could be polished a bit, the girl making my food kept on yawning INTO her gloved hands then apologizing for it. This happened three times during the quesadilla making process. She must have been very tired.

Apparently this joint has gotten away from the nickel and diming of customer and charge a flat price based on the meat you choose. Can't wait to visit this place again!!!

Not good as compared to other Mexican places. Taco Bell and chipotle are far better. The taco was terribly undercooked and the salad was disappointing.

I have now experienced food poisoning twice from this location. The first time was months ago where both my girlfriend and I felt incredibly sick after eating there. I called the manager the next day out of courtesy and calmly told him what had happened and that I suspected it was the chicken. I realize mistakes happen and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Looking back that was a mistake. I ate again there yesterday and felt the exact same sickness within a couple hours. Something seriously needs to be corrected here

We used to love this place and went there every week. But my wife and I have both noticed two things that are putting us off going again. 1. The chips often taste stale and overly salty. and 2. The portions are getting smaller and smaller. To the point where we see the server actually shake off food from the spoon when doling it on a burrito. They used to serve large portions and the burittos were big and delicious. Now they seem half the size.

My burrito was indeed large, but the bulk of it was rice, which didn't pack a lot of flavor in itself. The sauce leaned heavily on the sweet side of barbecue, and the molé flavor was minimal at best, but combined with their Salsa Roja it was tangy enough to help turn the tender pork, black beans, sour cream, and rice into a generally successful team. I did enjoy the soft and chewy texture of the steamed tortilla, which somehow brought to my mind the descriptive term "squeaky", which probably won't make a lot of sense until you try one. My squeaky burrito was fine, but the visit really hadn't left much of an impression on my brain, so I decided to return to Qdoba during dinnertime the next day. The atmosphere behind the counter was considerably more chaotic than on my first visit. The grills were pulled out from the wall and several employees were wiping the inside of the massive hood vents. From the looks of the black dirt smudges on their cleaning rags, they were doing a fine job of it, but I found it an odd and somewhat unappetizing task for them to be accomplishing during the dinner rush. My favorite food!! Great people too, thank you

For a chain Mexican place, it's actually pretty good. It's sorta like a Baja Fresh or a Chipotle, but less fancy schmancy pants. The other two seem to be very Californian in nature. Qdoba offers a card that keeps track of your purchases, so that when you accumulate a certain dollar amount spent or meals bought, you get something free.

Great food, super friendly and accomodating staff! They are extremely helpful for people with food allergies.

They never let me down! Always fast, fresh and friendly. I make it a habit to never have the same thing. I have now tried each item on the menu and love it all!

So why is there a TV in the lobby playing Fox News every time I go to the Coeur d'Alene Qdoba? Weird. I think the owner is trying to indoctrinate his or her customers. Instead it just makes me stay away from the place. In what world do controversial politics and a pleasant eating experience go together?
